E-Filing has commenced at NCLT, Kolkata Bench from July 15, 2020 through the NCLT e filing portal at https://efiling.nclt.gov.in/mainPage.drt. E Filing is already on-going at various Benches of NCLT. As per the data available on NCLTs website, already more than 22,695 cases have been e-filed, 10,239 Applications have been e-flied and more than 13,500 users have already registered which includes 6,813 Advocates. The total filing in July has already touched about 750. In this context, the VCM will discuss:
Procedures for e-Filing in NCLT;
Basic steps to be taken for filing of Petitions, Applications and Reply;
Responding to queries from the NCLT Registry;
Steps in creation of user ID for various Petitioners and Respondents, alongwith that for Resolution Professional, Professional-On-Record and Counsels; and
Fulfilling legal requirements for filing as per IBC Code.
